You're the one who straight away dived in with the insults, you're the one who got * triggered

Zero justification for Taylor over Valle tonight, zero, experience definitely can't be used as the justification otherwise Scales would have started over Trusty

I'll say it again, if experience was the justification for the start, then Scales would have started ahead of Trusty

It's absolutely nothing to with anyone being petty

You are aware the amount of games we play in a short period of time

Fully aware but let's be honest, the best team starts every Champions League game, no one is rested in the Champions League for domestic games, if the best team is available for the Champions League, everyone plays, otherwise there would have been more than one change from the Aberdeen game, also if experience was the genuine reason we would have seen Forrest start ahead of Kuhn, doesn't add up

Having said all that, fair play to Taylor on the stroke of halftime, he's justified his selection with that great ball across the box for Kuhn to tap in

That’s actually not true in the slightest.

There’s a difference between resting players and rotation. Taylor and Valle can be rotated comfortably, so can Bernardo and Hatate/Engles, Trusty/Scales.

Teams rotate all the time depending on tactics, fitness, anything.

Surely you can see the difference between Valle/Taylor and Scales/Trusty in terms of experience?

Valle has barely any first team football experience in general never mind European.

Trusty has Premier League experience, he’s the same age as Scales, international.

    Don’t be naive.

This seems a silly argument after Taylor was fantastic and Valle struggled to get to grips with the speed of the game when he came on.

Good player, but Rodgers obviously knows what he's doing.

I've never knocked the club on sell-on and option-to-buy clauses, because we actually utilise them.very well, in general... I'd no doubt whatsoever that WE TRIED to get one on the loan, but knowing us it was also probably lowball... As I said, difficult to prise young players away from these massive clubs

I could be way off but I don’t think Barca would recall him.

I can see this being more like our deals with Benfica. We’ll stay calm and at the end of the season get a deal organised if the player wants to stay.

I don’t think Barcelona will consider him good enough for them and in terms of making money, we’ve shown we can get premier league fees for a player if they do come good. We have that track record now.

A few million up front and potentially a lot more if the player comes good.

Alternative is trying another loan somewhere in Spain which might not work out and the money is then gone.

I’m assuming you’ll retract this statement now? :fear:

Clearly it was a tactical decision and clearly that decision worked wonders. The shape of our first phase of build up play wouldn’t have been possible without Taylor in the team. A bold decision, but one which paid off handsomely.
