Every time I see him play he reminds me of John McGinn hardworking aggressive he is a really good signing for us top player

 

I thought he was really good again today. Makes a real impact when he plays and has a ton of confidence. I think he will prove to be a great signing.

Class act the bhoy, what a * goal. Said before the game he was guaranteed to get his goal, I did bet on it but other parts of my bet builder shafted me lol.

 

Was probably our best player overall in the first half and our best MF throughout the entire game, not only deserved his goal but took it with real quality.

He's living our dreams because he's the best Scottish midfielder who isn't McGregor.

 

He’s going to play a huge role this season for us, hope he gets a start in one of the CL games as well, deserves it.

 

He should 100% start mid-week, especially with him being cup tied for the weekend.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers was delighted to see the strength of his squad pay off as Luke McCowan netted amid the absence of the injured Callum McGregor in a 3-0 win at Motherwell.

Goals from stand-in skipper Alistair Johnston and substitute Adam Idah helped Rodgers to by far his most comfortable victory at Fir Park, a ground where he had dropped points three times and seen his side net stoppage-time winners three times during six visits.

Motherwell midfielder Lennon Miller hit both a post and the bar before McCowan opened the scoring with an 18-yard drive after opening up space himself to shoot.

“I’m so happy for him,” Rodgers said. “As a Celtic supporter coming in, maybe there’s that enthusiasm first of all, but then that wears off.

“But he performs with great energy, a great passion for the game, and he has quality. Callum obviously wasn’t going to play, so the idea was to bring him in because he’s a goal threat, and I thought he was going to do really well.


You see that in every game he plays, he looks like he can create goals or score a goal

 

Perfect player to bring in after hard European games. Great energy and enthusiasm to go with his ability. Although of he keeps performing like this he’ll be the one starting the European games

 

Another good game from him. I like watching him play.

 

He's a great wee player and definitely deserves more starts, always looks a real goal threat too.
And being a Tim is the icing on the cake. He knows what it means to play for Celtic.

 

He's a real threat from outside the box. Has a bit of the invention I felt was missing from Turnbull's game in those areas especially against teams that keep compact.
