Something we’ve always been quick to point out that arrogance.

Something Ange pointed out about the reception to him when he was announced for us, and that the influx of Aussies said about our fans at the start as well.

We should reflect on * like that

Brilliant game management from the big man today. Massive 3 points for them, hope they crack on from here and have a proper go at the top 4

He's in dead man walking territory. They are wildly inconsistent.

I wonder if United are waiting on him.

Sticking with ten Haag makes no sense for them.
With ineos in charge, could they be waiting for a guy like Ange to come in and make a dynasty again at the club.

He's better than what United are at this stage in time, but that's a massive job he would love having the rule of the land with.

He's a couple of results away from significant pressure.... I dunno if the squad of players he has are all in to his plan like our players were.

Hed defo do a better job at United than Spurs but we may have green tinted glasses on that anyone in the prem would really want him at all. He's waxed and waned at spurs and prem teams would put little weight on his otherwise achievements

    Could very well be.

He's got to time it perfectly, if he hasn't already * it, not to ruin a reputation and drop out of favour with the top 6/8 clubs there.

He doesn't want to surely end up mid table to bottom half where he ends up bouncing around * club after * club.

Not that he would be looking here or taking my advice, but it would be to get out of spurs soon, take a job like United or go to the continent.

Anything mid to low end epl and he will end up being deemed a jobber.

Spurs was a mistake. He needed to make sure he was leaving us for the right club. He didn't

Whether we like it or not failing at Spurs probably still elevates his managerial credentials above another successful year with us.

No idea, whether he'll get canned but even if he does he'll get another shot at a high profile job to go along with the contract payout.

That's only reason I was annoyed he left. That was totally the wrong team for him.

He'll have zero difficulties getting another top job after Spurs. Plenty of teams in Spain, Italy and Germany will happily take him on, Spurs just wasn't the right move for him, but I fully get why he went there.

The thing that goes in his favour though is that they are still better than when he took over, and his style of play has earned him plaudits - plus spurs' reputation of being perennial losers no matter who is in charge gives him a pass on the lack of trophies.

No chance Man U will go for him IMHO..

You don't go from failure at Spurs to Man U ..

There's no way he could have turned that down.

Still maintain that it was the biggest job he could get directly from leaving here. And I believe that's the only reason he took it.

Team who can spend a lot of money, historically over the past 15 years or so a good record of top 6 in England and making it into Europe, brand new stadium, big wage rise and exposure to EPL.

I can't think of a more realistic, better move tbh.

Am I the only one who thinks he's doing OK?

Breaking into that top 4 right now is a genuinely difficult task and needs patience. Ange is an incredible manager; but he was never going to just rock up and blow the league away, because he's up against guys like Pep, Arteta, Emery, etc. who are also amazing managers (and the first two have bigger budgets too).

If Spurs fans expect their manager to do that in 16 months, they're a bit deluded IMO.
