He always goes for the difficult passes, that’s why Ange and Rodgers love him, he’ll lose the ball but that will never stop him from trying it. Just the type of player he is and why it hasn’t been coached out him.

    Delighted with the second half.

An absolute horror tackle on Idah. I hope he's OK.

For me that shows that we pretty much have 5 midfielders who are worthy of starting. Able to swap out numerous positions and still be well ahead. Not just a 3 nil win but gives me confidence in the squad.

    Excellent from Adam.

Hope Idah will be fine. I wonder what Rodgers' preferred back line will now be?

Given the previous games there today turned into a relatively straightforward 3points

Should have had a pen too. Maeda was pushed that's why his hand pushed the ball into the net.

What I wanna know is, what's the refs logic with the Maeda goal compared to then the Bernardo booking.

Maeda gets pushed, falls down and his hand accidentally knocks the ball forward and in to the net.

I fully agree that's not a goal and shouldn't stand. But the reasoning for the handball needs to be surely taken in to consideration, the foul was ignored.

But take the Bernardo booking, it's a push (minimal as much as the Maeda incident may have been), the Motherwell player goes down and grabs the ball before the whistle goes. A handball (those old enough will remember Tom Boyd got booked for that many years back trying to take a quick free kick when he was fouled).

Yet that handball is ignored in favour of the foul and a booking.

Why did both pushes, that resulted in handballs, end up with different outcomes - but both favoured the same team.

Excellent result after a very tough CL away day. Missed the first ten mins so didn't see there chances but pretty straightfoward the rest of it. Boy 100% went to do Idah. You can see him change the direction of his boot after missing the ball.

First match in since I gave birth that I haven’t been at or watched. Was flying back from Malaga this afternoon and missed the full game. Don’t wanna tread back through all the pages? How did we do apart from the score? Anyone not at the races or did we all do our part?
