Some result. Especially after the way the first half was playing out.

Mental how good Barca are considering they've been hampered by injury, Pedri, Gavi, Olmo, Araujo, Ter Stegen all injured at times, their holding midfielder I forget who started the season I think Bernal? got injured as well although only 17 he looked superb.

A young team and a lot of injuries but flying and playing some level of football.

Real Madrid have actually never played decent football for a long time, more of a breakaway team who take a bit of a doing on the ball but are always dangerous even when not performing.

Fdj, Olmo and Gavi returning will kick this team up a notch too.

Clearly the teenage body cannot handle the rigours of top level football for a long period. If they can manage that better over the next few years, this team could be really special. Stunning week.

Barca under Flick are the real deal, thats 3 separate occasions I’ve watched them the past month and they’ve been excellent.

He’s turned Raphinha into a baller, the side is littered with young world class talent from Cubarsi to Gavi to Pedri to Casado and Yamal is the next global superstar. Lewandowski is also flying and every bit as prolific as he was in his pomp.

They don’t have the greatest player who ever lived any more but it is definitely becoming like it was a while ago where they are the game to watch when there’s options like a Champions League night. They’re far more direct than the Pep passing style of play but it’s exhilarating to watch all the same.

Could hear that Militao screaming from here in that Madrid game, I'd say he's out for the foreseeable. Not a great season for Madrid so far.

Few nasty injuries in Spain the day, that boy's leg folded right round the wrong way in Villarreal Alaves game, looked horrible. Another stretchered off.
