Italian media saying that atalanta should hit double figures tonight couple of there players at weekend saying this is the game they want to rack up the goals ..some media saying if they don't score more than 5 the manager is under pressure ..our defense is a nightmare aberdeen sussed it out with the trough ball between the cbs .atalanta for me are better than dortmund. This could be whatever they want it to be.

McGregor has to show he is still capable at this level too, the last game he was shown up badly.

CCV a miss but was always a long shot him being fit and thrown in to this game.

 

Hoping for a better performance with the team working hard for one another and players not playing as individuals.

I think too many times in the years I've seen Celtic in away European games fold like a pack of cards and look disjointed.

If we are rubbish at defending in spfl it doesn't take a genius to work out we'll struggle badly in champions league

The football fan in me cant help but be excited for the match later, but I've never felt an more inevitable pumping in a long time.

It is 100% going to be another pumping, when you look at their results, their players, them scoring goals and then think of them playing us.

Like in the League this season they average over 16 shots a game, realistically that means they'll probably have 20 against us. Their top scorer Retegui has 8 in 8 in the League and 2 in 2 for Italy, guys like that always score against us in Europe, he'll probably get 2 if not a hat-trick. Also someone like Lookman again near guarenteed to score against us again if not 2.

They also foul a lot and we don't, they'll probably foul us any time we have a chance of an attack, meaning we are pinned in our own half most of the game.

They are coming into it in scoring form and high on confidence as well with 3 wins in a row scoring 10 goals.

 

As well as the sport, this match is a superb opportunity to visit Italy, one of the most beautiful countries in the world. It'll be a nice change from that big island where the sun never shines.

 

Not sure why all the negativity surrounding Atalanta fans, been very welcoming so far, place is buzzing with a few thousand Tims, the Celtic fan area near full, hopefully get a positive result tonight.
