Aberdeen fans getting above their station. Don't mind that - forgot how satisfying it was to pipe them down like in the 2014 - 2017 years.

They're in for a shock on Saturday when they see what we do to their amazing swashbuckling pretenders.

Feel as though we haven't played in * ages.

This could either play right into our hands and we skelp them 4 or 5 zip.

Depends on how we start, if we take our time to get going then it could be a tough game, but I think Brendan will have us up for it.

What I have noticed with a fair few of Aberdeens goals is that they have become much better at capitalising on mistakes and counter attack. Something we will defo need to watch.

Exactly. I don't think we can afford to have a slow start. As you say they will punish any mistakes at the back.

Aberdeen are most definitely vastly improved going forward this season no question about that. Hopefully CCV will be fully fit and back this weekend.

    I asked ChatGPT.

First game back after International breaks I always think we start slow, no idea if that’s factual or not but it’s stuck as a thing in my mind. Us being at Parkhead rather than Pittodrie makes me not worried to like I would be if it was us away rather than at home, this is a big game for the season though.

Aberdeen have had an outstanding start, they’ve had a mentality to grind out results when it’s not in their favour. If they get steamrolled that can derail it, if they get any sort of result point or three then they are bolstered so much it’ll carry them on so much.

Us just winning they’ll be thinking nearly, wait till the return game… and for me it sets the pace for where they are to be a threat to break in between us and the Huns. Behind us, because as much as I don’t like blasé arrogance, they don’t have the quality or squad to challenge where we are, but they do with the Scum.

Jimmy Thelin came through at my local team in Sweden.

It was apparent early days that he´s got a clear vision of how he wants his teams to play,
paired with an ability to get his players to buy into it 100%.
His man-management skills are also top class.

Aberdeen under Thelin stick to the basics; 4-2-3-1, with full focus on counter attack.
I´m in no doubt Celtic will win, but I wouldn´t be surprised if it will be hard fought.

    Looking forward to it!

Buzzing to get back to the real important stuff that matters most to everyone. I expect a tough game as the sheep have been playing well so far and would be happy with any type of win.

I looked up a random Scandinavian manager who was doing well at a smaller team last season and suggested Thelin as someone they should look at, but would never and would be to uninspired to try something different.

So then they done exactly that so I’m glad he’s good at least, I scouted google for 3 minutes to put my reputation on him being an inspired appointment
