Celtic have been fined approximately £16,700 for the "lighting of fireworks" during their recent Champions League defeat away to Borussia Dortmund.

And the Scottish Premiership champions could face a one-match ban on away fans at a Uefa club match if there is another incidence in the next two years.

Uefa said, external its control, ethics and disciplinary body had decided: "To fine Celtic FC €20,000 and to ban Celtic FC from selling tickets to its away supporters for a total of one (1) UEFA club competition match, for lighting of fireworks.

"Said ban from selling tickets to its away supporters is suspended for a probationary period of two (2) years, starting from the date of the present decision."

Idiots who risk injuring other supporters and know full well the club will be fined.
Club should have the names of the fans who brought the tickets.
Unless those fans who used the pyros are named to the club then the whole away support at that match should be banned.
Let’s see how the supporters react then to the prospect of not getting another away ticket in Europe because of stupid morons putting fellow supporters at risk of injury

 

Coming from the guy that routinely posts about murdering people and pouring acid down their dead corpses throat amongst other things, I reckon you should take the high road on this

 

C'mon pyro children, feckin grow up - you are damaging our club and now potentially hurting the team and fans with an away ban.
A home ban for fans could be next too if it continues.

While I get that some of what he says is a bit out there, there does need to be accountability from the fans (the club needs to take it also). So called ultras do seem to believe that they are above the law.

I forgot to mention that the club should be held accountable for not doing enough to stop this happening.
