Can’t imagine getting him to sit


Is this a friendly or a competitive game for Japan? Usually Maeda’s very important for them, and for him to be benched when I think he’s at his very best form, everything clicked for him, would be bizarre. The Japan manager is quite bizarre right enough

 

No longer really a starter for them. The coach makes weird decisions anyway, left Kubo (who's arguably their best player) on the bench too.

 

Is it the same guy still that has made some weird comments bout Kyogo? Did Maeda not start up front for them the last internationals a few weeks ago?

Dropped Kubo or this a nothing game and he’s rested? Cos aye, Kubo’s head and shoulders above every other player in that team. And after moving permanently to Sociedad couple years ago he’s thrived. He was being played when he was loaned from Madrid and not doing as well when he was younger off sheer hype I’m sure, now he’s doing it proving the hype he’s dropped?

He had them amazing at the world cup but the manager is a * dumplin

 

Not sure if he started a game a few months back but hasn’t really been starting regularly for them of late anyway, usually just off the be bench. And yeah, it’s the same one who has a vendetta against Kyogo for some reason.

It wasn’t a nothing game either, was a WC qualifier against Saudi Arabia, who are a fairly strong team. Moriyasu is just a weird guy haha

 

The Kyogo thing judging by interviews off him, if they are properly translated the * actually clueless about him. Doesn’t work hard and is selfish was the quote about his game I’m sure. Not 100% on selfish but not hardworking he definitely said.

And that must be just because he’s next to Maeda and he’s comparing, because his work rate is * insane. Maeda’s is just unique and something I’ve seen maybe 2 times out of any players ever - Kante and Ivica Olic.

Should never have played today by the looks of it, really weird and I wonder if he was injured or unwell or something.

Never pressed and constantly just passes the ball back to Hatate or Valle, looked like he couldn't be arsed playing I felt. Selling a goal aside he never really got involved at all which is nothing like how he normally plays.

Was like Mikey Johnston on a bad day, if he's not injured or unwell he needs to dye his hair again or go baldy. The normal hair took his powers away.

 

Best not to start him straight after International break.. was way off the pace.

He looked absolutely knackered, that pass into the middle was the stuff of nightmares.

 

To be fair though, he has been rank rotten the last couple of games.

He'll pick himself up soon enough.

 

He's made an excellent start to the season in general though, chipping in with fair share of goals..

He'll be vital on Wednesday.
