    Exactly this.
Hd content of your chosen team.
All games for the season are there to be rewatched whenever.
All B and senior squad games (women as well if we want to), your club interviews (puff pieces if they want, plenty other clubs do it) and then further access to games from other clubs.
Would actively get folk more interested as well.

I'd think you'd honestly be able to easily get 200k Celtic fans the world over to pay for that at £20 a month which works out at 48m just from us.
Huns would manage similar numbers, other clubs combined let's even say is just 50k and you're looking at 450k subscribers. £108m for that level of service.
Half the subscribers if anyone wants to say that's over doing it, that's atil 53m, more than 20m more than currently we get for the league.

Obviously will need to have some level of infrastructure spent on it, but plenty of it is already in place. Literally would just need to increase the bandwidth issues and make all cameras in to HD streams.

That doesn't even account for the sponsorship options that could boost the numbers as well.

I stupidly forget that I should/could also do that as well.

But that's a prime example of £15 and folk would happily pay it as you say.
Make it £20 and add a bit more to the service (basically access to all clubs in my example) and I honestly think we would do so much better.
Certainly not worse and at least we are in control of it.

    Typical shithouse rag article ….

Trying to compare Celtic looking after its own fans and broadcast arrangements to the Huns farcical dispute with cinch and the spfl.

Yeah but does the VPN really work? Mine worked on RTE2 for a bit but now they've wised up and it doesn't work anymore.

VPN works but you have to have the vpn on when you got to the site to sign up to Celtic tv if the vpn is off they will only offer the 80 quid a year package if you have the vpn on the you can sign up to the overseas package where you get all the games …. You must have your vpn on when you sign in to Celtic tv in order to get the game up ….. you can get vpn on your phone then cast Celtic tv off your phone onto tv if it’s a smart tv

That way can get the games without feeling your cheating your club out of money so to speak

Just had a look with the VPN on (not signed up yet).
What's the difference between the standard and the premium do you know? I assume just in better quality?

For £15 a month you get:

    Watch every domestic game live

    Full match replays

Go behind the scenes at Lennoxtown

    On-demand features & classic matches

    Live UEFA Champions League Audio

    Exclusive content available to rent

    Monthly and annual packages available

And for £22 it's the premium version (better quality?).
Right there, just literally provide exactly what's already on offer to UK and Ireland and I bet we would get 100k subscribers no bother at all.
18-26m just from Celtic fans alone.
    Rangers would bring in similar.
On the low end, the two clubs themselves would literally beat the current TV deal, just by simply opening it up to the UK and Ireland subscribers.
On the high end, we would be 20m+ over it, just with the two clubs.
Add in the rest of the league managing to bring in another 50k and you're another 9-13m on top of that.

It's almost baffling how this hasn't already been done. The infrastructure is already in place. No one would even be asking for special high end commentators needing paid a million a season or anything, it's your club TV channel, tom Boyd will suffice if I have to :56:

What if you have the VPN on your fire stick already (say Nord) and are you then able to access a web browser on the fire stick and login to the site directly? Perhaps could increase the quality a tiny bit and save your phone from casting?

Pictures pretty decent for 15.99 and I’m on a hd tv and no blemishes the 22 quid I suspect is for 4K uhd

Their disregard for Scottish football can be seen in the fact their main pundit is that fat * Boyd.

Look at quality of pundits they have for EPL and we get hit with a moron who can't string a coherent sentence together

It's absolutely the right approach from the club. Can complain about some things they do but agree with this, actually putting fans first.

Yeh that would work I think with nord it affect all your devices so the vpn would still be on your phone if your connected through your Wi-Fi as it’s the ip address that’s getting masked …. Be different story if using your phones own data

Incredibly wanting seven and a half million quid, for this game, isn't the biggest laugh I've had while reading this thread.

Just echoing what's been said here, I think the board have made the right decision.

I don't know the numbers but it sounds like £75k devalues the game quite a bit and of course it also inconveniences the supporters.

I think if the number had been higher they probably would've went with it which I would be fine with as long as it wasn't too often.
