Folk said a similar tone of things about Kuhn less than a year ago...

 

Thing is I don't think Idah was worth 9 Million last year or this year half that sure but Norwich knew we wanted him badly and jacked up the price way beyond his worth

 

If I remember correctly I thought about £6M, rising to £9M depending on performance... Not much changed about that thought process, but the thing is that if you buy from the barmy league, a d you have no leverage over them, then you typically pay TWICE the price...

I think we'll look back on him and at worst (* and injuries willing!) say he returned his investment over his time... Not every signing needs to be buy low, sell high...

 

He's still settling back in here, and getting up to 100%... I think right now, when he's not at his best and we're still licking wounds from a sore European result, is the wrong time to put definitive values and expectations on him... If he's still rough and ragged by January I may well side with you on this, but I'm not there yet...

We loaned a reserve player and turned him into a decent 1st team sub in 6 months. He's still at that level now, so maybe by the end of the season he's pushing for guaranteed 1st place spot. You'd expect that for £9M, but as I said... That money just doesn't land the same in England

 

Needs to add more to his game. Strikers go through games and periods without scoring. When that's the case for Kyogo he's still one of the best I've ever seen at making runs and dragging defenders, for me Idah needs to find something to make himself stand out and contribute more to the game when he's not scoring.

 

He was starting to come on to a game before today, it was an off day for almost everyone.

He's still going to be very important those season, already played a major part in the cup

 

Yeah would rather have paid the 6m for Miovski , just don’t see him as ever being our starting striker , had a few good games but still think the a couple of league games and his cup final goal masked over a few things.

 

How is Miovski getting on in Spain?

 

They signed Ruiz from braga who’s there first choice , miovski is a sub , probably he him at a reduced rate at the end of the season if things don’t improve

 

Not doing much. On the bench mostly and hasn't scored a goal. Missed a pk I think as well last week.

 

Who cares what price he was. We’d only sit on our pot of gold anyway…. Least we’ve got him and Kyogo to rotate between them both when one plays bad and thankfully the other doesn’t! A healthy battle between them for a starter spot only benefits the club whether it cost £1 million or £10 million the 3 points are all the same

 

Guess people are seeing why Norwich didnt fancy him.Hes not a prolific goal scorer and is one of those players that looks like he cant be bothered the way he moves around the pitch.
However i think hes a great asset for us as he can do a job for us (especially in the league) and can be a handful for defenders which creates space for others

 

It's not the price that's the problem, it's the fact that he can't control a ball for the most part.......

 

I think he’s doing well so far this season.

I think he’s got a few more levels and will kick on.

 

Scored 0 goals. Never really undrstood the hype around him.

Honestly * me off we paid more than 3m for him. There's a reason nobody else was trying to sign him.

He did us well last season when we needed a different option but for the asking price we could have gotten a far superior player.

Still think he's got a fair bit of credit in the bank from last season. Willing to be patient but on the other hand he does need to do more when he starts.
