Never got into good positions. Wanted him to stay more central at edge of the box to hold the ball and lay it off to the midfielders.
Was very static and overall just meh

Done practically nothing but was starved of service too.

Just always seems to be way better option off the bench.

Gets a pass today for me. Midfield was abysmal no service at all

Very poor today for me. Would like to see him vary his runs up in the box. Felt like he was waiting for the ball to come to him too often. Combined with the fact the service was generally poor, he wasn't going to get much joy doing that.

In saying that, had two decent headed chances in the first half that I thought he connected poorly with.

Didn't hold the ball up well enough either in the first half in particular. Felt like, again, it was bouncing off of him instead of him showing a bit of decent close control.

Has done well recently so not overly concerned, but not getting a pass today. He wasn't great.

Norwich bent us over with the fee. Our own fault though and a lesson in * around for future.

Could have got him earlier for a few mil cheaper and we wouldn't be having as much a conversation.

I really hate to sound negative but being honest I really don't see anything in Idah that is close to a c.9m player. Cut that in half and I'm still not sure I see it.

Ultimately he's still a good option from the bench and he offers something completely different from kyogo. So I'm happy for him to make the odd start and come off the bench fairly often. But I'd be amazed if we look back on Idah in a few years and see him as a great signing.

Far too easy to get traction with negative opinions of him when he’s not scoring.

He has enormous potential with the attributes he has and he’s already proven he can do it for us in the highest pressure of moments, Brendan wanted him so the fee is immaterial really. He’ll be fine.

He got absolutely no service when County had 12 men behind the ball.

I can, though: pace, power, height and speed. I can see the same flaws as everyone else; but all of them are coachable IMHO. We just need to be patient.

Yeah I'm not writing him off, and Rodgers obviously sees something in him. And he know infinitely more about such things than I do! And I like Idah as a person and it's nice to see a player desperate to join celtic. And the irish connection. I have a huge amount of good will towards the guy and hope I'm proven wrong.

I'd love to say that I see it but honestly I've not seen it yet.

He can't control the price tag and it's difficult to get a rhythm without a run of games. But his movement and being in the right place at times. Today a few times he was wide left when passes were going at the 18 yard line.
I do like him when he is on form and looks up for it. Does better coming off the bench at the moment

Needs to sometimes be able to make something happen for his self..

I know you do need service but times today I was looking for him to turn and really get us going. Think I remember him doing it fairly well once and laying it off to the right first half..

I’ve no concerns about him at the moment. He’ll more than prove his worth over the season.

Done well with what he got today but it was very little.

We play a completely different style when he plays. don't think it suited the game today tho against their back 8

Agree. I said at the time we were trying to sign him that I don't think he's very good, and certainly not worth the money being quoted. So far, I've seen nothing to suggest otherwise.

    I hope I'm wrong...
