Yes, I looked into this at the time of the loan because indeed he had a buyout clause of €3M before the extension - no official word on what the new fee is but between 3 & 30M based on local speculation

But as I always remind people on transfers, players have to want to move - if he ends up falling for Celtic then the club would not have to pay the full amount, it could be negotiated down

Player is Catalan and I suspect he wants to return but you never know

 

That’s actually a psychologically crushing victory today for us.

I'll take it. Made to work very hard for that. Credit to County for making it a real fight. This is not an easy away day, as they have lost just 3 in the past 16 at home (including today) since Cowie took over, back in Feb. That is pretty much been the story of their season - 14 goals conceded, 9 after the hour mark.

AJ in fairness probably shouldn't have even been playing, but think because of CCV and Taylor already missing, BR did not want to go with virtually an entire new back 4, so for him to get the equalizer and an assist for the Kuhn goal will have made that worthwhile and having the break now hopefully will help get him back to 100%.

As for Kuhn, just keeps proving his worth. 6th goal of the season. The right hand side really pulled that one out for us.

Down the left, Maeda was kept pretty quiet, did have the one clear chance, but otherwise, County kept him in pretty decent check til he was replaced and even then Forrest admittedly out of position didn't spark a whole lot, while Valle, don't think heard the radio commentary even mention him at all in that second half, so I don't know what to make of that, but seems to suggest he wasn't involved a whole lot - that is not definitive, will leave for others to decide that.

MF... not great from Engels & Hatate today. Seemed to be much better when McCowan and Bernardo came on, but in fairness, County were starting to tire by that stage.
