It was one of those games you’re saying to yourself we’re losing this if we don’t get a bit of luck. Even if it’s a deflected shot going wide in off somebody’s *.

Hatate's form a worry tho, he's been pish lately.

Engels poor too, looked shell-shocked from Dortmund still..

    McCowan should have started..

    Forrest made an impact..

3 points in the bag, a serious struggle but objective achieved.

    Classic post European match performance.

Delighted with the result. Second half was as impressive as the first half poor.

We move on to the next.

2-1 will do. Not quite my 3-1 prediction at half time. On to the next game now

Tough Oul game, they set up to frustrate us right from the start and they done just that. The subs made the differnce. Tempo completely changed. I’d like to see the midfield 3 that ended the game there start the next. Gonna be a busy schedule after the break no harm in rotation and resting some

No buy option, loan is set to expire June 30, 2025. His extension at Barca is through 2026, with option to 2028

Especially considering how underwhelming Martin has been, no question Valle will get a chance with Hansi & 1st team

Looked confident, especially when we were chasing the game. Always showed for the ball and his movement was excellent.

    Never in doubt :34:

Nah thought it was understandable we were a bit slack and couldn't get going. No problem with that, every team in world football goes through it.

Good teams, with a good mentality, keep plugging away knowing that it will click eventually. And even if it doesn't, you make sure to do enough to win the points.

That's exactly what happened today. Frustrating having to go through it, but in the end am delighted we showed the determination to win the game. Supreme mentality.

Now have a chance to reset and come back even better after the break. Up the * Sellick.

Even in the short spell I watched, that was apparent - I like watching the players with & without ball, especially as a fullback

I read somewhere he has a pretty low release clause, do you know anything about that?

Pretty concerning that Engels performance. Different expectations from what he's used to I guess but he was dreadful today.

McCowan is great for days like today. Can see him getting more starts as we lack leaders.
