I’m sat here proper embarrassed for the players and club. Everyone involved with the club needs a sit down together to stop this from happening and being a total clown show in Europe.

Hatate has made a difference

 

This for me, Dortmund have been good but not 5-1 at half time up good. This has largely been down to our own failings, we just continually make school boy mistakes, gift the ball away cheaply under no pressure, are slow to react to anything.

That first penalty and fifth goal are two of the worst goals you will concede at any level, a guy simply picking up the ball and being allowed to run straight from the half way line to through on goal when he isn’t even fully in control of the ball. The fifth just giving the boy the ball on the edge of our box. Two and three are about desire and failing to win simple tackles and the fourth penalty is just stupidity, all be it is a soft award.

Scales was the only one who could hold his head high from that first half the rest have been between terrible to embarrassing. Our full backs have been within the width of our box and Dortmund have had the freedom of the wings all game, where Brandt is allowed to drift with no one bothering to shut him down.

 

So disappointing because we could’ve got at them here. We didn’t need to press to get goals. If we played a normal game in possession and dropped back out of possession we would’ve been in this game.

Rodgers absolutely sold us out tonight.

 

Their results in Europe have proved for a few season now that they are not naive and play better in Europe than us, no question about that, no point arguing about that it's obvious

 

Hope to * rodgers has learned something from tonight for the Atalanta game or it’s another thrashing there .

 

Manager also has a responsibility to his players he will damage them morally and mentally setting them up for that pumping and for what …. To maybe prove he could match a German geggenpress
