I genuinely can’t believe he’s tried to press them tonight. More than that, I can’t believe he persisted with it after the first 5 minutes.

Daizen has been poor defensively, but he's been our only threat with the goal and the shot that went wide.

These are morale destroying results for a team. We are on a good run as well. A hard game with a 2-0 or 3-1 scorelines where we fought hard but came up short against a team who will likely go deep into the competition. Nope, another hammering trying to be go toe to toe with a European heavyweight. Absolute shanbles.

 

It's got to be a mentality issue rooted deep, we've had endless amounts of players, but the same outcome. We could have prime Messi and Ronaldo playing tonight but the same outcome.

 

Stuttgart beat them 5 1 a couple of weeks ago. Last week they beat Bochum 4 2, but they were 2 0 down until 44 minutes.

Of course they are a level up or two levels up, but they aren't the elite of the elite. We are just so naive away in Europe its quite unbelievable.

Pretty unforgivable to learn absolutely nothing from all those away day pumpings we've had over the years. It feels like a blind spot Rodgers has, just bizarre.

 

We got thumped by Barcelona and PSG years ago and still haven't learned a thing from it.

We're a laughing stock at the European level.
