All we can hope for now is that Dortmund take pity on us and take their foot completely off the gas. Considering it’s not even half time yet this is probably the most embarrassing performance I’ve ever seen from Celtic so far.

 

Almost all of their goal were gifts. 3 were from mistakes and then the 2 pens were avoidable

 

To play open football against a team of this calibre you need to be playing very strong teams in a strong league week in and week out

With how often Reo gives away the ball Bernardo was the logical option. I think all the players are being exposed here by being asked to do too much against a side with far better players.

 

It's only second game in this new league I know it a poor show from us expected.more but.not doing it. Make changes second half get big.idah on with kyogo trusty off hatate on

 

It had to happen. We have had an unbelievable start to the season and had not lost a single game since the beginning of March, and it is now October, so that has to be taken into account. Sooner or later, we would have a a bump back to reality, now 5-1 down at HT... and could've been worse.

Bernardo or Hatate, Trusty or CCV... not sure even if fully fit it would have made any difference. Perhaps not 5-1 down, but certainly would be 2-3 down, and perhaps that was down the the tactics, not to be so open, but when we see how Dortmund have been leaking goals there was always that chance that BR would try to put that to the test - and being honest lowkey thought that would be what I'd've tried also... but it has been all Dortmund.

 

You cannot set up your team against a side like Dortmund the same way when you play the likes of Falkirk & Dundee. It's a disgrace from the manager. He knows the different levels and needs to adapt. Absolutely shocking. When you play against someone who is much better than you then you need to make sure you keep it tight. You cannot play them at their own game.

 

At least we spent £11m on a top Belgium talent to make the difference

We're letting them shoot from wherever they want and just letting it go in. Could get investigated for match fixing for this
