I don’t want a hard luck story. We have the players who can impose themselves on Dortmund and get a result. It’s not just about quality. We need to be very disciplined and not get anyone sent off.
The Spanish ref by all accounts is card happy so that is a concern.

We can't bridge the gap between us and the top top clubs, especially away from home. The real acid test will be converting those winnable ties into points..

Dortmund may be able to got at, which is encouraging and the performance for me is everything. If we're disciplined and give everything and fall short, then so be it..

Taylor and Scales have been excellent domestically but clearly aren't at CL level and no CCV, we already know our weaknesses even before that ball is kicked.

McGregor isn't a DM either and we don't need one to be dominant Domestically, CL is another matter..

Day off work the day.... normally I'd celebrate that, but I bet it'll drag all day now couldn't even lay in bed long.. woke up at 5

 

Obviously this is a tough game, but I do think we can get points. The team isn't just winning at the moment, it's good quality football. The lads look confident and enjoying their football. I won't be annoyed if we lose, we are expected to lose, but we beat Barcelona with Ambrose playing so why not?

We will manifest a 4-1 victory and the yellow wall will give Daizen a standing ovation. Call me optimistic but there's 100 reasons why that could happen. Its up to Dortmund to stop that from happening and I feel bad for them

 

Heart starting to rule the head a wee bit now - feeling more confident as the time passes. Rodgers talking about mentality in the presser and thats 100% what will decide this game for us.
