I haven’t seen Chelsea this season under Sonia’s guidance, she was a legend at OL - hopefully more pleasing on the eye than under Emma Hayes

 

In fairness, Chelsea last season were pretty much without Sam Kerr for nearly the whole campaign, so to still win while missing one of the top 2 or 3 players in the women's game in the world does deserve some respect, and having to adapt and work around her not being there. Would be like Argentina winning the World Cup a couple of years ago if Messi wasnt there - obviously not quite the same, but you get the idea, lol.

 

Seriously, that is a tough, tough draw v City in the League Cup QF, 3 days before the Ghirls play Chelsea in the Champions League.

That may be but I see Emma as a cynical coach compared to Sonia’s positive football. I haven’t seen them yet under Bompastor but anxious to see what she done with them so far, a coach I really admire - very curious how she walked away from Kang & OL, gotta be a story there
