Watching Still game for the first time and are at season 2. This is some funny stuff man. Have they made any other films or series together? Loving the actors

Are there any other good shows filmed in glasgow?

They started off doing wee skits on Radio Scotland and ended up with the tv series ‘Chewin the Fat’ - my all time favourite comedy series along with Father Ted.

This live show is an absolute classic,had it on VHS:

 

A couple of them were also in Dear Green Place but I don't remember it being anything special.

Not as good as still game and also a lot newer but Scot squad is a good one too. The scones/* line is still one of my favourites from any sketch show. Gets me every time

 

Still game is the best. ' Dial a bus' for those in the know.

 

Lol it was the episode i ended on last night. What a * show man. Need to recommend this show to my mates here in Swden.

 

Funniest comedy ever made.

 

I actually quite like the new seasons of it tbh, obviously nowhere near the same as the original seasons but I still had a laugh.

Actually thought Greg Hemphill was still as good as he used to be, it was Ford Kiernan and Paul Riley who were a bit * this time round, rest were alright.

 

My favourite episode, big Robbie is hilarious in it

 

This was well good,lost in the mist of time.One of the stoners played Fatboy in ‘The Wee Man’ (2013).

 

My fav so far is the one when they bought tams ticket to a restaurant for 10 quid. When they ended up in a mansion with 2 posh-fraud women. Laughed so hard in that episode. It just get better and better.

What, are there new episodes of it? Seen it mentioned above. Is it the sameshow or a new name?

 

There was a 9 year gap between series 6 & 7, when it came back it was never the same. It finished in 2019.

 

Aah i think i am at season 7 now and might be controversial but i think it has just got better and better might be a nostalgia thing as well i guess.

 

They brought it back after the hiatus and tried to pander to the English audience, who had said they couldnt understand any of it, or the patter.

That's weird. I am Swedish and have no problem at all getting all the jokes lol. The english must be insanely stupid.

Prefer the first 5 or 6 seasons....when it went away for years then came back is was * brutal.

Not funny at all....The Junkie with the teeth,winston was just embarrassing....Shoulda binned in rather than pander to the english

 

Is the bar (clansman) a real bar, or just one they put together for the series?
