Greg Taylor

He is a real leader in the dressing room and on the field for us as well and that is not to be underestimated how important having leaders in the team is beyond the captain. Absolutely deserves a new deal and hopefully we can get that done soon.

 

Incredibly influential when we're the dominant team..

He isn't a good enough defender when we play better European sides.

For me that's him in a nutshell.

Barry Robson from a hun background was another one who loved sticking it on the Huns.

 

Heard it said before of Forrest but don't believe that's true. Either way doesn't matter as he's a Celtic legend without doubt.

 

Yeah, we had Greg that just felt a tightness in his calf in the first 15 minutes. So just precautionary, we take him off and put Alex in. And yeah, we hope that he should be fine. And obviously, it just allowed us to manage some of the other players as well.

Fine with the hair. Definitely need him to sign a new deal. We haven't been able to get better than him for the time he's been here so no idea why we aren't offering him a deal to keep the team solid.

Got a sneaking feeling Rodgers is still trying to get Tierney which is a huge mistake in my opinion.

 

I've got a sneaky feeling Brendan likes Valle, going by his after match comments. Talking about his quality and that.

 

Lovely run and touch for the goal but wasn't that impressed before that. Early days though.

Either way we need 2 LB's so not extending Taylor is definitely shooting ourselves in the foot.

 

Well, we need to keep Taylor and get shot of Bernabei.
I think its going to be a ding dong battle all season between Taylor and Valle. Just what we needed.

 

He's defo proven that he is worth a new deal but still think we can get better or else someone who excels at the things he lacks so we have horses for courses options like with Kyogo/Idah.
Maybe he himself fancies a new challenge though, but I hope we get a new deal sorted.
I think trying to get KT back would be a mistake, he's too much of a crock now IMO and would be injured more games than he would play and be a waste of money.

Anyone that thinks he’s not good enough is just being stubborn now, plays that inverted role so well. Has to deal with every team chucking their big wall puncher number 9 on him and hitting diagonals every week and stands up to it. Would be tough to replace I think, also seems to be one of the main leaders.

The only negatives he has are outwith his control in terms of size and speed.

Huge fan of the hair too.

 

Another superb performance by the most underrated player at the club. Such an important cog for how we play. Sign the * contract!

 

Get that contract signed now. He just suits this team so well.

Another year of going into Europe with him as our first choice LB. Another year of humiliating defeats.

 

Good player domestically...but Europe especially against competent sides that know how to play a bit are beyond him.
