Lawton with the goal. LAC did well creating that, and deserves the assist.

LAC was best player on the park in the first game, and Lawton so far probably has the honours tonight.

Lawton is having a GAME! She is right on it tonight. Great call having her on from the start and has only gotten better as it has gone on.

Pretty much just going through the motions to paly this out.

Ghirls do need to be a bit mindful, as it seems to be getting a bit tetchy, and dont want anything silly to ruin this.

On the upside, they could potentially get 15-20k to cheer them on! On the down, it's a biiiigggg park, and the Ghirls have looked stretched playing there on the couple of occasions the last few seaosns when they have before (or at Hampden for that matter), with narrow, unconvincing wins, either due to the nerves or just not used to having to cover so much extra ground, especially when not used to it.

Would be pretty great for the game though, and for the team to get a close to capacity CP out to cheer them on though, would be mental, a la, the way that PSG used to get behind their women's team... well, before 'the carjacking/mugging incident' happened.

No arguement from me on either of those. :50:

Will be interesting to learn the dimensions that they are doing for the new complex and home ground for the women and academy lhads that is being developed at Barrowfield also.
