According to BR prematch, both AJ & CCV would've missed this game regardless. All the othyer changes were rotation/resting, but those 2 were forced.

Palma at times is drifting in more like a 10, and it's not helping our mf by making the space more congested.

Yeah I heard that, I think when you have injuries you need to bring in Taylor and Scales to give some continuity to that back line.

At least have Maeda protecting the new LB when he’s paired with a new LCB

 

Midfield have got no runners to hit , nothing out wide ,and no ball playing CBs to make angles for them. Even Cal has been caught out dilly dallying on the ball as there is * all movement . Hung out to dry . Big man up top has been a statue , wingers and full backs hiding and the CBs have both been spooked.

 

Think Kasper could have done more for the second.
There isn't pace on that header and it has time to bounce as well. Needs to shift his weight and dive for that at least.

Absolutely credit to Falkirk for going at us. It's good to see.
But for us, we need a few changes to grab hold of this game now.

Trusty is scaring me, but I'll give him more than today to maybe play alongside CCV.
Valle has looked okay, nothing flashy yet but he's tracked back well and put in some decent blocks. Both get more game time before writing them off.

Palma Forest and Idah as a front 3 doesn't work in a system that is all about pace and pressing. If we are doing to play Forest and Idah together the system needs to be tweaked. Palma just shouldn't be in our team, not good enough.
