Think that half proves my point about the dangers of making too many changes against a Falkirk side who have made a good start to the season. Too many people quick to think we can field any team we want and stroll over the top of anyone. As I said, football doesn't work like that. Could be heading out the cup here if we don't get the finger out in the 2nd half.

 

We need more from Idah as well. He didn't read that early ball from Palma, although he's defended crosses better than our CB partnership.

 

For a world class manager who highly rates the other manager this is a * train crash of a game. 8 changes and our defence is a mess.
We need 5 subs right away for the 2nd half.

 

Should never have left Scales out. Trusty, Palma and Idah have been poor/sloppy but then so have the midfield at time.

Still think our front six have a good 3-4 goals in them but need the back four to do the basics and get Bernardo and Hatate more involved in better positions.

 

Drop off on both wings has been drastic. Valle, palma haven’t been good enough and Forrest/ ralston is a league 2 right hand side

 

I said it in numerous posts, making so many changes was asking for trouble..

It was already a tricky tie.. you've got zero pace to press up front and a back 4 that have never played together..

Arrogant selection and we need to change it quickly..

That was unbelievably *. Ralston, Welsh and Trusty have been so slow on the ball. Barely any movement from the front 3.

 

Two fouls on Valle. Got pulled back for the first, although that's green tinted specs. The second, he's elbowed in the face!?

 

Far, far too many changes, no need for a completely new back four, bringing in Ralston and Trusty would have been enough.

Ralston, Trusty, Hatate, Welsh, Palma have all been garbage.

Kuhn, Kyogo, Scales, all on at half time.

You make big changes when the game is won not 8 changes for the game, This team is not breaking against anyone and the defence is 2 or 3 levels below the mid week game.
BR has made a * of this.

 

Valle has been good I think but too soft at their second.

Too many changes though. The back line look terrible.

 

Entire back line looks very rusty maybe too many changes … Palma is really on borrowed time for me. Guy cannot beat his man and cut a ball across the box if his life depended on it.

 

Fair play Falkirk have been excellent. They have came to Celtic Park with an identity and are giving us a real test.

 

Was he the one on the deck? Seems it's open season on him for both goals then.

People on here saying Valle looking good? I personally think he's looked *, small and like a poor Taylor tbh....

Trusty standing off letting them shoot for the first goal. Looked like he stopped expecting the foul. Never heard of Play to the Whistle?

Ralston and Welsh miles off the standard set by CCV and Johnstone.

Palma just * really.

Grim stuff, and we're not allowed enough subs to fix it.
