Celtic tops 24/25

Surely it’ll be Adidas again? The amount of money they and the club must have made through merchandise would be unreal.I don’t really give a * either way.My favourite tops for years were the NB invincible treble one - and the black away from that season.

 

It's not for me, I'd say it's the worst top we've ever had.

Agree with you on the traditional hoops they released, that was perfect.

 

The club and Adidas have already discussed the framework for a renewed deal. I’d be very surprised if that’s not the route we go down as both sides seem happy with things, unless Nike or Puma offer significantly better terms.

 

I really hope not. Can't stand their kits. Plus not a football company for me.

 

Would prefer that myself. Puma maybe in previous years were ok but the last few seasons their kits have been dreadful as well.

 

Totally agree. Pretty hit or miss on the tops but excellent training gear for the most part.

 

That invincible home top from New Balance is a great top. One of my favourite home tops for sure.

 

The Adidas kits are too cookie-cutter for me, would prefer we looked at another option. However, I think we probably will remain with Adidas.

 

They're all like that to be fair.

Nike are every bit as bad, if not worse, with the same template for every kit thing.
To be fair, it's been like this for decades now. One look at world cup kits and you'll see years where all the Nike or Adidas shirts are basically just different coloured designs.

Of the three big kit makers, I'd stick with Adidas.

The Adidas "elite" clubs are getting that retro design for their third kits. Just a handful.
They also get the fancy pro shirt materials on sale to the public (absolutely no clue if all clubs get the pro material for their players or not, but for sale to public it's elite clubs that get that chance).
Elite clubs (top of my head) are Bayern, Madrid, Arsenal, United, Juventus and Newcastle got added straight away for their market pull.

Not sure if there is another two in the mix, but think it's just the 6.
Ajax, benfica, Boca, ourselves are in their sort of middle ground section between elite and their actual next level below.
So your Copenhagen, Lyon, Leeds level clubs are the official step below, but we seem to be in that half step between which allows us to get some kick * merchandise and the joy of a "4th" kit (see the Irish effort and the anniversary throwback last year).

You'd like to think a renewed deal, considering the impact we have for the positive with adidas, would see them want to make us in that elite bracket.

The elite clubs are also sold basically the world over. Every Adidas shop basically stocks the elite clubs. Where as the rest of us only get sold in our own markets/key markers (so imagine we are sold in Scotland, perhaps one or two England shops and an Irish shop, perhaps one in NYC or something. But nowhere else. Where as Juventus kits are sold literally everywhere).

It'd be quite something if we got kicked up to elite though. Adidas will get far more sales from us (I imagine the prospect to sell properly in japan, Korea and Australia for lazy example), along with us then getting more income off the back of that.

If we could get bumped up to elite status with Adidas that would be a real positive for the worldwide coverage it would give us. No idea if it is something that is realistic though.

 

Absolutely loved last year's home kit, genuinely one of favourites ever. A lot of neutrals down here said it was a nice aswell but I haven't met many Celtic fan who liked it .

Adidas sort clubs into tiers, with only the biggest clubs getting elite tier status. It affects what type of jerseys etc they produce for you. We're in the Premier tier which is just below elite.

Does anyone have problems with stains in their white hoops , I've got loads on mine yet my 3 kids don't have any ???
