Grand old team to play for
With CCV and AJ not training today I think Scales will definitely play, and likely Taylor, but it would be good to see Valle get a run out. Difficult to pick the partner for Scales though. Could be Trusty, but not sure about a left sided CB on the right. Could be Welsh who has more games at RCB for us than the rest, and has played with Scales quite a few times before. With Nawrocki on the bench for the Slovan game is he finally fit enough to play?

    I'd pick:
    Schmeichel
    Raldo - Welsh - Scales - Valle
    CalMac
    Bernardo - Hatate
    Forest - Idah - Palma
And if we're comfortable in the game, bring on Trusty (60 mins) and Nawrocki (70 mins). Would be good to give Holm and Yang some game time too.

Brendan said in the presser before the Hearts game that Nawrocki was out for that one.

After a busy start to the season with more or less the same starting 11 I think we should rest a few on Sunday. I'd go Sinisalo, Ralston, Trusty, Scales, Valle, Bernardo, CalMac, McGowan, Forrest, Idah, Palma. That team is well capable of getting the job done and will give some fringe players game time.

Thinking about rotation, I would like to see Cal rested, hes the oldest of the 4 midfielders and would be good to see who can fill his role, as we will need to rotate him at some point, and not flog him.
So a midfield of Paulo Engles and Reo to start and try Paulo in the Cal role.
Also, with AJ and CCV carrying knocks, run with AR and Welsh. Maybe Maeda could stay on charge and try Palma.

Plenty of players needing game time and few others needing a rest.

Outwith Bernardo not a lot of options to change midfield with Mccowan being out. Would like to see Holm and Turley on the bench and ideally getting decent bit of time if game is put to bed early.

Left wing is weak, would give Maeda a rest altho he probably doesnt even need one knowing him but not overly excited by either options

No doubt the semis will be Motherwell vs the huns and Aberdeen vs Celtic.

    I have no doubt whatsoever.

Wouldn't mind that at all. Love beating the huns in a final, nothing better.

Raith Rovers pumping them was pretty good.

I'd rather we had the weakest team so I'd plump for Motherwell or the huns tbh.

Good chance to give the fringe players some game time, could possibly also put Holm in for McGregor but don’t want to totally underestimate Falkirk either.

Nah, give us Aberdeen - time to put the sheep back back in their pen.

I’d be worried about too much rotation with this. Think we should rest CCV, Kyogo and johnston but keep the rest of the squad the same. We have 5 subs, if it’s going well then we rotate.

    Schmeichel

    Ralston
    Scales
    Trusty
    Taylor

    Calmac
    Engels
    Hatate

    Maeda
    Idah
    Kuhn

Up confidently (hopefully) then I’d like to see Cummings given a runout, been great in the youths recently.
