Loads of power on his shots. Can't wait to see one of them fly into the net.

Incredible stats those. Credit to Rodgers and the players. Engels is finally giving us that pace and power we need.

Mental the confidence he has, straight in the door taking over penalties and freekick, smacking corners and passes about at full tilt.

Im quite shocked how good he is, I expected someone worse than O'Riley and probably Hatate and McGregor even at the price he cost who would develop for a year or two but we've not seen a guy skelping a ball about with this quality in a long time.

If we can start recruiting a player of this quality each window for the next three windows. What a team to watch.

It really is exciting thinking about how good a player he could become if this is what he is already and he can hardly have really settled in yet. Plus of course Brendan Rodgers is just the manager for him to flourish under.

    Yep.

£11m as well. Blows any argument that we can't attract or pay for quality out the window.

Crazy how good this boy is. 21 year old, played 3 games and already looking like one of the best midfielders we've had in decades :56:

What a * signing. Amazing work by the club buying some * for 11 million quid and within weeks it's clear it's a bargain. Absolutely buzzing to see how he progresses.

The one that shocked me was Greg Taylor being in the top 10 for distance run. Until I thought about it for 5 seconds. Was there anywhere on the pitch he didn't pop up?

I'll never stop criticising his lack of pace, height and strength; but sometimes I take for granted that he's also a very good footballer who takes up really smart positions and works really hard.
