    Quite simply the best performance in Europe for a very long time.

    It should give every single member of the squad a huge lift, and extra motivation to continue this fantastic start to the season.

    Rodgers has got the team firing and has matured as a manager

    Was mentioned on one of the shows tonight but if we got a group with Man City and Bayern in days gone by we are pretty much out before a ball is kicked.

    My take away from it was that, we usually “look poor and borderline struggling to be a conference side” to quote you and we preformed way above that. And that’s a bit leap for us.

    We need to stop putting this team down, there’s potential there that could go somewhere.

    Aye we definitely looked good regardless of their level.

    Think we can hurt better sides as I've said but I'm no gonna get carried away just yet personally. Rodgers won't be either but you can't ask for a better start.

    Next two games are a * of a lot tougher.
