    A decade of mostly humiliation and embarassment in european football surely has to end tonight. If not, we should just chuck ourselves out this competition. Not as optimistic on the scoreline as most, it'll be a narrow win which will still probably leave more question marks over what we can achieve in this competition.

    No more gagging over 5 star trip advisor reviews for Celtic Park, return it to its early 2000s fortress status!

    Watched highlights of Slovan Bratislava's 2-1 win at Dunajka Streda a few days ago.

    I thought they looked absolutely * honkin tbh. Slow, ponderous, leaked a * load of chances too. Not to mention they lost 5-0 at home to Zilina a fortnight ago too.

    Rodgers will have the team ready for Bratislava's best. But let's not kid ourselves, this is a team we should be taking care of and at Celtic Park - with a bit to spare.

    History tells us we've been here before. But I fancy us really making an impact here tonight.

    As some have said on here... there are really no easy games now in these new or the old group stages... the teams are there on merit so must done something right at one time or another. We approach this with Intensity, drive, forward thinking, be cute when we need to be , and clinical when we have the chances. Our midfield have to boss this and our forwards deadly in front of goal and no * stupid mistakes at the back

    Didn't realise originally but they have a really old squad, average age of around 30-31 with a couple of 34+ players starting.

    No idea how good Weiss is nowadays but he was vastly overrated in his prime. They have Kucka who was a tidy player in his prime but is 37.

    The one to watch out for is Barseghyan, looks like he's comfortably their best player. Keep him quiet and I think we'll be alright.
