3-1. Might be a chaotic start as both teams will probably try to come flying out of the traps. That wee mutant Weiss will be champing at the bit to score or lay on an assist, but I think we should swat them away relatively easily in the end.

 

Dream result for me would be

A minimum of a comfortable 2-0 win with both goals coming early and then Vladimir Weiss breaking his own leg while getting a red card attempting and failing at a horror challenge

It's not that I think they are *, it's that I think we are good and have confidence in us playing well.

We're in good form having played well every game this season and been starting games quick, maybe the huns aside. Under Rodgers as well we've been really good in big games, we played well in the CL last season performance wise, were calm on the ball controlled large parts of games or most of most of our games and played quite well same in games against the huns.

So I think we will play well and dominate the game then I just think we are overdue to pump someone in the CL.

Plus it's just set up well, our easiest game at home. Thats how you want to start, the last 2 times we started with the worst scenarios our toughest game at home Real Madrid meaning you are probably going to get beat and now have a home game less and are under more pressure then last year Feyenoord away where you have your easiest away game but know you are probably going to get beat and get off to a bad start and then have the better teams to play and big pressure to come when you play that team at home.

 

Gave my ticket to a mates 13 year old, his first CL game and it was a good deed but ... wishing I'd shut the * up now

Anyway I'll get to sample a match here and see what thats like and be home before One am ish, so there is that benefit I guess. Take a win of any kind firstly but looking/hoping for 3-0... just don't * this up Celtic.

Thats a fair assessment of the game I think. It will be interesting though whether they actually come and look to press and attack us or will they sit off and look for counters.

 

As long as we come in 24th or higher means we play in play offs for chance to get into last 16

I just hope that if it's 0 - 0 after 70 mins then crowd don't start groaning at any misplaced passes or anything like that. When there's a big expectation to win and things aren't going so well, the crowd can get nervous. Even if it isn't going so well, we still need to make some noise and encourage the players.

I'm not going to be confident of us winning unless we're 5-0 up. Think we're the better team and favourites but I've seen Cluj, Maribor, Copenhagen and Athens. Hopefully it's an easy night.

 

I should be crossing the border into Scotland about now but after recent seasons savaging I decided to let my cousin have my CL four games package, beginning to regret it, I love European nights under the floodlights and Brendan has got our team flying.
