The one and only Leach's Storm Petrel I've ever saw was on a boat on the way to Bass Rock. The bird flew right by the boat. As you can image, we were so excited to see it. A Leach's Storm Petrel, the promise of thousands of Gannets and many more seabirds made for a stunning, fabulous day.

Was out running early on Saturday morning and saw a fox and a deer and a wee squirrel all running beside each other, wasn't able to get a pic, the squirrel bolted up a tree and the fox legged it into the bushes but the deer just kinda stood and stared at me as I ran past.
Was mental, dunno if they were playing or fighting or chasing each other or what but by coincidence someone on my Instagram who doesn't really stay anywhere close also posted a fox and a deer together that same weekend.

Is this a common thing, can they be wee pals or does the fox try and eat them or what?
    I was so confused.

A few from portavade, there seems to be a bit of an upswing in the birdlife lately, I've seen a few species recently who were missing for a while, Godwits, Teal, Knot and the Brent Geese are back in Kellystown in big numbers.:50:
