I mean Bayern don't lose in the group stage phase and have carried that form on to the new league phase. But watching YB we should be beating them at home but that's in January....

 

And hopefully YB will have zero points and given up by then ha.. yeah hard to judge a team away to BM but they conceded 9, but in fairness we've shipped 7 a few times

 

Good night overall for us, all the teams we'd essentially be competing with to qualify lost, a win tomorrow would be massive.

We've had a few pumping away in Europe so not taking anything from that result. We'll be playing Dinamo away so be a tough game.
Bayern probably would of beat us easily.
Positive about tomorrow though..going for an end to end 4-2

 

Gonna be cases of gd splitting postions so if we can keep any beating to small score lines it will help our cause

I remember when I used to worry about us being too optimistic. People complaining about us losing to Juve at Celtic Park as if we should be beating them. Now we sound pessimistic as * lol. Yes, these are all good teams, but we can compete in all of them, not just try to lose by good scorelines.

 

Imo, tonight we’re seeing again that, at this level, we need a better finisher in the front 3 than we currently have in the squad. It’s been the case for years.

Maybe Idah can be that guy. Idk.

Post-Jan, I’d like to see us start the last 2 CL games with either Idah or a new striker in the middle, Kyogo off the left, and Kuhn on the right.
Maeda to come on at the 75th minute to run tired defenders ragged.

Next 3 games are very tough, I'd take 2 points right now.

 

I agree but were due a big scalp preferably away from home.

 

So grateful to the players and manager for that. I haven't enjoyed a football match as much as that since 2013. I'm absolutely buzzing.

 

We are sitting 2nd. 3/4 of our future opponents sitting in the bottom 4.

The tough test starts in the next few games. Can't see us winning both but that goal difference will be very important come the end of the league phase. No heavy hammerings please, pragmatic when playing away!

Our next 3 games are against the CL runners-up, the EL winners and a team that beat us very comfortably twice just two years ago. If you think Daizen Maeda is going to be on the subs bench, I don't even know what to tell you, mate.

 

Was good to see and hear the amount of people talking us up for once down here..

Likes of Joe Cole waxing lyrical about our play, our threats and recruitment and the potential of doing things at this stage..

Was saying about us having more games and being a showcase for talent coming to us more and more now. Refreshing as we're usually patronised or talked down..
