    Really excited for this seasons Champions League, wee format change and some diffeent teams to face from the usual. Don't see anyway that we don't get off to a winning start. Complete faith in the bhoys to scud them on Wednesday. :ynwacelti

    The guy who they had on Celtic AM (albeit a Slovan fan) said they will be looking at us as their best chance of 3 points and will come to win the game.

    Should make for an entertaining matchup!

    Set the tempo early, get in their faces and don't give them a moment to settle.

    I think we need a statement win, if it's a struggle and battle to like a 1-0 then you'll just be thinking we'll be lucky to win another game.

    If we come out, treat them like Motherwell, play in full flow, attack and press and look to rattle them and score goals we should manage it.

    From their perspective this is a bad game, probably their easiest opponent but away in their first game, big stadium probably the biggest many of their players will have ever played in, atmosphere will be through the roof, the pressure of being in the CL even the excitement for most of their players who will have never thought they'd ever play in it.

    Catch them out and pump * out of them.

    I'd take any win against them tbh, but I can see what others mean about making a statement.

    Oddly might be the most nervous I've been for a CL game since the qualifiers, such a winnable game and a loss or draw would be a bit of a nightmare moving forward, would mean we'd need to win one of the trickier ties at least.

    They've got 5 or 6 regular international players and got through 4 rounds of qualifiers against some decent teams without losing a single match. Don't underestimate or disrespect them.

    What I am hoping for and what I am expecting are 2 different things here. I'm hoping for a comfortable win by a few goals to get us off to a confident start. What I am expecting is a tight nervy game with a single goal in it.

    I just can't be confident about us in Europe considering our record in recent times, fingers crossed we start to show we can compete at this level again.
