His team are crying out for a proper striker.

 

Scenes when Spurs sack him tonight, Rodgers dumps us for Spurs by 7am tomorrow morning and Ange is back in our dugout for Wednesday night.

Ange is good it's the team that can't play to his way. Spurs r * and can't even play out from the back and poor striker

 

Rodgers has done an amazing job. I knew he was a great coach; but he's really surprised me by having the courage to come back to do this and to not quit when he wasn't backed last year. Fair play to him.

Ange has reached a key moment in his career it seems. He needs to find a way through this. I really hope he does.

Likes of Johnston and Werner aren't good enough, midfield not that of a top side .. he isn't getting the best from Maddison either.

But, I also thought he himself looked really passive today, especially when you compare him to Arteta, I know they are different characters but to me he didn't look like he believed in it..

They aren't winning enough games 5 in the last 11, can't blame Spurs fans for doubting him.

Was just looking at Werner's stats. His original time at Leipzig his return was pretty good but any time I see him he's absolutely hopeless, never seems to make the right decision.

 

Think if Jota came back to GB within 2 years he would get hit with a massive tax bill. Might be why Henderson went to Ajax

 

Like watching us last season, having a lot of the ball in games, getting into good areas even "dominating" their games but you never really believe they'll score.

Bad mix of players up front, Son out wide who has no pace, Kulusevski who is like a midfielder out wide then Werner and Johnson who are completely unreliable, Richarlison was terrible and Solanke he probably will do well but the wide players don't do a lot.

Spurs have been shocking at scouting for years really up front, Kane was from their youth team and other than him Son who they signed probably like 8 year ago are the only two good forward they've had in 10 year.

Bergwijn, was it Vinicius a big brazilian dud, Lucas Moura was howling, Soldado, Johnson, Werner and loads even worse than them.

When you see all the good players down there Joao Pedro, Cunha, Pedro Neto, Jota, Mitoma, Olise, Eze, Bailey, Watkins, Diaby, Kudus, Gordon, Isak, Hudson-Odoi even those types like Wissa, Mbuemo, Barnes, Madueke, Gibbs-White, their back-ups should be guys like that signed by smaller clubs with lesser budgets you wonder how they don't pick up them.

 

He’ll be under huge pressure but he would of known that when taking on the job.

 

Richarlison, Johnson, Werner, and Solanke aren’t good enough players for the level they want to be at.

The money they paid for Solanke in particular. They could’ve got Jonathan David and had change left, or Victor Osimhen for that fee.

 

Haven’t they just signed a guy for over 60m? Don’t follow them or watch them but vaguely remember the chat around it.

 

Thankfully we had a better manager in Rodgers waiting to take over from him.

 

Honestly could not believe they signed solanke for that fee. Couldn't score for anyone till last season.

 

Ange's honeymoon is well and truly over at Spurs. He's 2 or 3 defeats from being shown the door. The buck will stop with the manager. Fans are turning

 

That's wild! How does that work (genuine question)? I'm not against high taxes for people earning ludicrous amounts of money in principle; but it doesn't seem fair to tax a foreign national on earnings made working for a foreign company in a foreign country. I can't see the justification for that.

 

Not sure mate, just heard/read it somewhere about Henderson and presumed Jota would be the same
