Aye he is, that's both us and the huns he's had really good performances against.

 

Tougher test from them than the huns gave us. Good 3 points. Shame Idah's goal was chopped off but it should give him some confidence going forward.

 

And kyogo done well with his link up play should have scored but It will come

 

Thought we made hard work of it in second half, but just the way of it, we're going to have games where it doesn't always completely click. Overall very positive about it. Thought Engels looks a great player, some excellent challenges along with his overall play. Taylor, CCV and Cal all played well as well. Mccowan did well too. Unfortunate for Adam, I haven't seen it back but seemed like Palma shouldn't have been caught offside there to me.

I'd possibly start Idah and definitely Bernardo midweek personally.

Not the greatest game to watch.

Started well but I thought Hearts contained us pretty easily for the most part. Hopefully just some rust from the international break because we can't play like that again on Wednesday, even if it's only Bratislava.

Engels, Taylor, McGregor and Kuhn were really good. The rest, not so much today.

 

Engels starting and we even got a look at him partnering Bernardo whilst CalMac sat in, Engels exudes power, skill and loads of running, it’s early but already looking like we’ve another gem. Idah just needs a goal to settle him after we spent all that money but he’ll be fine once he scores and remembers he’s good at this whilst wearing Green. Schmeichel, another gem who gives me confidence for Wednesdays European game.

We weren't our usual best today and we're a bit wasteful. Thought Johnson had a very poor game which is so unlike him so hopefully it's just a one off. Glad our new players got a goal and you could see how much it meant to McGowan especially. Liked the look of the diets full back and I think we should look to sign him in the future.

 

No doubt both penalty decisions will be debated to death by the SMSM
