Before the break I woulda said 4 nil but with the interruption and maybe one or two changes going for 5 nil.
A Saturday game aswell...amazing.

 

This game could be pretty much whatever we want it to be this mob are dugmeat.

I wonder if Maeda and Hatate will be rested as Japan play again tomorrow, so they probably won't fly back until Wednesday and it's a 12+ hour flight. Maybe have them on the bench and start Forrest and Engels, or McCowan.

 

We can definitely afford to rest Hatate with the options in cm that we have. Would be nice to give Engels or Mccowan their first start. Keeps Hatate fresh then for bratislava. Maeda is a machine though think he would likely start

 

We've got options that don't necessarily weaken us.. for the first time in a good while.

100% mate. In a few weeks I think for the first time in ages, the forum will start having loads of different predicted lineups...whereas for however long now the 11 has been a near stick on every week..

Can't complain. It's what we wanted, competition for places..

Can't see both Trusty and Valle starting. Not sure which one Rodgers would opt to start this game, but one of them will.
Engels for either Hatate or Bernardo I think.

Very interested to see if Engels or Trusty start.

Nobody deserves to be dropped on performance levels but you don’t spend 17m on two players at Celtic for them to sit on the bench.

If they don’t start on Saturday you can’t see them starting vs Bratislava. Particularly Trusty as a centre half.

Reo one of the first names on the team sheet for me so big game for Bernardo if he gets the nod.

 

Maybe Taylor isn't 100% after pulling out the Scotland squad..

 

Same team as the hun game barring injuries..

New players need bedding in me bollix.. absolutely no one that started against der hun deserves to be dropped.. if we are comfortable by HT some early changes.

 

I'd be very tempted to start Idah in this one as I'm a bit worried about the game. Not from an us winning it perspective, more that Naismith knows his job is on the line, and that he has pretty much no chance to beat us, so I expect his tactics to consist of getting his team to kick * out of our players, paticularly the likes of Kyogo that have known physical issues. With the CL looming I don't think it's a risk worth taking.
