Whether the lines are computer generated or not, both the lines are not the same angle, one is straight down and the other isn't

Jota was clearly off against Motherwell.

Exactly. Was it a clear and obvious error? No.

Beaton is a cheating * and we should be calling it out even though we won at a canter because it just looks like excuses and sour grapes if we do it after a game we haven't won.

The gambling industry needs to get involved as at the end of the day it's match fixing

100%, doesn't matter if we win or lose a bad decision is a bad decision and should be called out for that regardless of score, how are we supposed to get better or fairer when we only call out the one that cost us points

They have teams of people working on odds ect aswel as algorithms, you see it in there odds for penalties reds ect in Hun games compared to others but as long as there not losing money they won't give a *

The pulling us back as we had a clear advantage was absolutely stinking. On one of the occasions we took a quick fk and he pulled that back too. Should have just worn a hun strip.

Until we get those cool AI generated images like in the champions league showing the exact toe offside then it's not fit for purpose and can't be accurate enough for tight calls like this one.

All var has done is allowed sky to use two extra cameras during the game.

    That's it.

They've then allowed someone to be paid to watch the replays as often as they want and then make a decision.

What we have as VaR is extremely dated when we started with it, only now being shown to be even further behind by the advancement of the UCL and others use of semi automated.

All the while, we are paying for sky to have the extra cameras.
Even when sky * it up but using one of the extra cameras that was explicitly meant not to be taken off the action, nowt happened (the Motherwell incident, the excuse was the var camera was pointed at the dugout for a cutaway shot).

Even that is probably highly inaccurate when you think about it, all that does is replace the human element with AI. You won't then have wee Billy Dallas in the VAR room placing the lines where he thinks they should go just from looking, AI will compute where it thinks they go and do it automatically.

But when you think of it, to precisely map a football pitch to any real degree of perfection it would take fucknos how much money, scientists and camera. You'd need cameras of different heights off the ground, angles.

The CL version is just regular VAR but without a human being stopping where they think the ball is kicked and moving the lines to where they think the body part it but the camera angles probably still aren't good enough to be perfect.

The rules are "if there's any way to disallow a Celtic goal, take it, no matter how tenuous"

The offside is a joke, when it’s that tight it should be left with the linesman who has a better view of it than some hun in the var room drawing lines where he knows it’ll show an offside decision.

Beaton was an utter joke yesterday, them two advantages he pulled back were as blatant as they come. He actually waited to see if we were going to get the advantage or not, then when he realised we did blew his whistle.

On the subject of Beaton remember him getting Yang sent off for the high foot, was watching the Leverkusen game the other day and the big * Boniface absolutley blootered a guy in the head knocking him out on impact with the guy collapsing in a heap and didn't even get a card for it.

One of the worst kicks to the head i've ever seen. Yang got a red for dangling a foot up.

I was thinking the exact same when I saw that. He did get booked though. That Hearts game was disgusting - they were * DESPERATE to help them when they dropped points unexpectedly the day before.

We all knew when beaton and Dallas were appointed that something dodgy would happen and the two advantages he pulled back that was blatant cheating and again the club should have called that out and we will continue to get these honest mistakes while we have die hard sevco supporters doing our games .

Need more camera angles and better tech.

No point having the VAR if it's not the same as other leagues or the best version we can get.

It's not fit for purpose in its current form.

I was perfectly (and I mean perfectly) in line with Kuhn in the main stand and I and every single other person around me couldn’t understand why the ball was replayed from where it was, we were certain it was Kyogo that was offside because there was no chance Kuhn was.

Having seen the stills, it looks closer than it did in real time yet still - he wasn’t offside. We have to have a vehicle for complaining about that and getting Dallas to *.
