Kyogo is a far better finisher , better movement , and although sees less of the ball, looks after it better. I genuinely thought it was reasonably established he is the best since Henrik.

It's not even an Edouard thread, yet I'd be forgiven for reading this and thinking he was another Pawel Brozek.

French Eddy was absolutely class for us, but no player since Larsson has gave the huns the fear like Kyogo does.

They didn't move for any striker in the end , but Kyogo was one they were looking at , they may come in for him in the future. You think the whole thing was the most random fabrication of the transfer window ?

Kyogo is a different animal now that he's adapted to the way Rodgers wants the team to play, he's much more involved in our build up dropping deep, Ange had him as the tip of the spear most of the time, he could barely touch the ball all game and still score, and as effective as that was Kyogo's always had more about him than 'just' scoring.

I think it's worth remembering that he hasn't been a striker his whole career, before we signed him he'd played more games wide left than up top.

 

1. Someone asked a question, I replied. Acknowledging Edouard is a better player isn’t diminishing Kyogo and it’s fine to have differing opinions. I love both players.

It's all about opinions I guess, I don't think yours or anyone else's will be changed and that's fair enough . "Funny how no EPL team wants him " can easily and fairly be regarded as a diminishing comment however.

I think Edouard was a better player for a season and a half before Covid shut football down. He was on fire then.

1. You're saying he's not good enough to play in the EPL, that is diminishing him. He would score goals for literally any team in that league.

I wasn't expecting this thread to be an Edouard vs Kyogo deal after humping the huns 3-0.

Both are pish compared to Amido Balde either way

 

I just think he lacks some attributes to be attractive to teams there, mainly physical.

I wouldn’t say Schmeichel has been seriously tested for us yet, though his passing has been an improvement, which was never my concern.
