I’d much rather have Kyogo in my team than Eduoard.

Other than his obvious advantage in teamwork, desire and application, his all round game is far better.

Looking at Eduoard’s highlight reel you could say it’s a close call, but at several points in his Celtic career he wouldn’t release the ball to anyone except Ntcham, and even at that he done it reluctantly.

Used to dribble in to blind alleys past two or three and fake shot until he got dispossessed. No use beating a couple of men if you’re going to lose it anyway.

From a technical standpoint his dribbling is better, but I couldn’t give a * if your dribbling is as good as Ronaldinho if you’re going to keep going with no end product it until you get it taken off you.

His on the ball decision making left a lot to be desired, and that’s being incredibly generous. I’m not even slightly surprised he’s been unsuccessful in England.

The comparison between Dembele and Kyogo is a tougher one, as the big Mouss was a proper team player, and like Kyogo, is proven in the Champions League, unlike Eduoard.

A lot to people forgetting just how good Edouard was while he was here, imo. Much of the debate about him, Kyogo and Dembele really comes down to systems and personal preferences.

Good goal today by the man himself. Don’t think he was at his best otherwise. Should’ve finished the 1vs1 chance and had a few loose passes. Great finish for the goal though, and tremendous shift as well.

Agree, Edouard i'd put above McDonald and Griffiths but not on the same level as Kyogo or Dembele.

Not just his decision making on the ball but his off the ball movement and like alertness to play going on around him was poor also which Kyogo is exceptional at.

When Edouard played for us there used to be loads of cut backs and crosses and he barely got near most of them, where as Kyogo is always switched on.

Edouard I felt was a skillful player on the ball and a good finisher, probably a better finisher than Kyogo and Dembele but for overall play and that he wasn't near their level.

I like Edouard but Kyogo is far superior in my opinion, and offers so much more.

Goal is a belter. Keepers position is bad but Kyogo seen that and just tucked it away in the space from 30 yards.

4 goals from outside area and 3 against them.

8 in 14 against them. 1 he was injuries after 2 mins too, one he was on wing and another he came on as a sub.

Yep. As I said, a lot of recency bias.

I’m specifically talking about when he went on a solo run.

People mistake him for being an excellent dribbler, which technically he was, but his decision making and lack of awareness was so abysmal that it often came to nothing and he’d lose it anyway.

He was an excellent and composed finisher, no arguments there.

Brilliant finish today! Would have been a nightmare situation if we had sold him in the window.

For all you’re saying the judgement of Kyogo is based on recency bias, your judgement of Eduoard is laced with a heavy dose of nostalgia.

The human brain can often tend to block out events associated with trauma, and * me was I traumatised by big Eddy optionally refusing to pass to his mates :56:
