    I absolutely believe they do.

Take away last windows, the manager has asked for players and he has been handed them.

If the signings perform well and contribute to success then of course.

But there is certainly room for improvement in our overall recruitment process, even though it’s difficult to pinpoint the failure points as a fan.

Credit seems a big step. It's been a good few days bute yet another window where we've brought in a lot more money than we spent.
And organisation has been a * show.

Let's see if they're serious about improving the recruitment and scouting department and we bring in some more staff.

They haven't done more than what we should be expecting, it's new to us that they have so it's certainly progress.

Hopefully there will still be enough money left in the pot for a handsome bonus around Christmas time (and maybe in April as well)

It remains to be seen. I think some transfer could have been done earlier. That is my only criticism. Maybe a winger would have been too. But think we invested and thats what fans asked. Can never please everyone though.

I think they did ok, but wouldn't be singing their praises. Didn't get enough done early in the window so we didn't leave enough time to bring in all the players we should have. If we had another week of the window I think we'd have seen another couple of additions.

They definitely deserve some credit for getting Rodgers some of his players. Engels for sure.

But they still dragged the * out of the window and I think overpaid on Idah. And for all they spent, they still turned a profit. Could have pushed the boat out more.

For doing what they should be doing most summers...no.
    Long over due action.

The profit from players sales won't have come in directly at once, it'll be partial installments.

Some may think we overpaid for Idah, but if Norwich wanted £12m reportedly for him, and we got the man that Rodgers said he wanted for less than that, I'd say it was fine. Especially when it seemed that Norwich were repeatedly moving the goalposts...

So they did what they've been demanded to do THIS window, but still it's a "no" from you?

    Ok.

Not for me. We haven’t brought in everything we need & we had ample time to do so. They managed to salvage some credibility but I wouldn’t be going as far as giving them credit.

It's a huge step in the right direction in our approach to recruitment, for that i'll give them credit, think it's easy to fixate on negativity when it comes to the Board.

Hopefully when it comes to future recruitment the mindset has changed and we can continue to show more ambition.

Most wanted the goalkeeper situation sorted short and long term, we’ve done that. Most wanted competition for Taylor, we’ve done that. Most wanted a left sided centre half to at the very least compete with Scales, we’ve done that. Most wanted the 2 loan players from last season tied down long term, we’ve done that.

And, lastly, most wanted another central midfielder option but when MOR was definitely leaving wanted a chunk of the transfer money made spent on his replacement - we’ve also done that.

Credit where credit is due, despite the timescales, we’ve delivered.

People wanted the manager to be backed, and he was so yes, I think they do. They'll never be able to get it absolutely 100 percent right, that's very difficult but at the same time, some people are never happy. Overall I think we've done pretty well. I wouldn't have minded another striker but not sure who of quality is going to come in and be happy playing 3rd fiddle.
