Happy with some of these signings, but correct me if I’m wrong, where have we actually “really” strengthened the team maybe apart from a loan in Valle?

So... How much money did we make through sales and how much did we spend?

    The window slams shut!
It's 11pm and the Premier League transfer window has officially closed!

However, clubs can gain two additional hours to complete deals if they have submitted a deal sheet.

The deal sheet is documentation that confirms a deal has been reached before the deadline but requires additional time to be concluded.

Deal sheets must be fully completed and submitted after 9pm but before the 11pm deadline.

However, international transfers must be completed by 12am - the deadline set by FIFA.

Still light in attack and at centre back. Probably a 7/10 window. Could and should have been better.

Really thought we might see something out of the blue today, particularly with Rodgers sounding quite enthused earlier.

Very surprised we didn't add another winger/creative type..

Flat day to be honest. Still a bit light..

Some good signings in though and some utter * finally binned..

Hard to tell really. GK is stronger I think and we will see how CB and MF are.

I think we've gotten shift of deadwood and filling it again too quickly could make the January window tough.

Good because we got Engels and a loan without a buy option for a position we have needed for 1.5 years? Trusty and McGowen wouldn't of happened if we didn't have to rush it on the last day.

Think we'll be fine until January without a wide player

Still happy with what we've got

Solid enough window for me, in the end.

Idah and Bernardo deals were dragged on but happy enough we got them over the line. Overpaid for one, potentially but underpaid for the other.

Very happy with our deals in the GK department. Schmeichel seems an upgrade on Hart and Sinisalo seems like a really good prospect to take over from Kasper.

Happy with the signing of Valle but disappointed we couldn’t make that permanent, especially as his release clause was £3m. Again, hopeful we make that permanent if he manages to really kick in here.

Trusty is at a good stage of his career and off a disappointing move to Sheffield United. Seemed to be highly rated at Arsenal and done well at a previous loan with Birmingham. Hoping to see that same player in Green and White.

Delighted with Engels and happy enough with McCowan. Would have liked to have seen a move for Diawara or Sanches come to fruition but McCowan adds to our HG quota for Europe so a sensible deal.

Disappointed we couldn’t bring in another winger. Think that should have been something the club addressed, especially with the permanent sale of Johnston. Definitely think we will need to target another winger and a Centre Back in January.

O’Riley aside, really happy with the amount of players we have managed to move on. 11 players off the books, upwards of £37m banked and I think the club have balanced quality and quantity.

7/10 for me. Had we gotten in Sanches, instead of McCowan and a winger, like the lad from Chelsea, it would have been a 10 for me. All in all, done well enough

Lights just went on again Celtic Park. Engels photo shoot along with McCowan when he arrives I imagine.

Have to think that Palma and Yang are being given one last chance till January. Surely.

I'm surprised as Rodgers needs wingers to make the style work and atm we have 3 we can trust but one in Forrest who should really be coming in as back up at best behind a front 3 or 4 to choose from.

Think it'll be addressed in January. But did expect a loan.

Main thing for me now is Rodgers gets to work with those in charge to sort the recruitment structure. Don't want it to go quiet on that again. Hopefully hear about something well in advance of January.

Would’ve loving another winger but quite happy with that window tbh. Even in terms of offloading deadwood. Seems everyone at the club starting to pull in the same direction and with Brendan’s comments about looking at the recruitment structure should hopefully continue to improve. All priority positions were covered in my opinion just maybe light for options of quality off the bench on the wings. Still much better than what we had last year in the CL with Yang starting games etc. proper buzzing to see the new lads play and buzzing for the CL.
