Luke McCowan

Just the same thing i was about to say regarding McCowan. I had seen Scott Allan play before he signed for us and i thought he looked fantastic at times, I’d genuinely never heard of McCowan until yesterday.

 

Decent players in our league, we too often turn our noses up at them.

 

What actually happened with Scott Allen. Sevco were in for him but Hibs offered him to us?

 

Young man must be buzzing, big step up.

 

So you think McCowan who was at Ayr just under 3 years ago is better business than Engels?

 

I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a player more out of his depth.

 

The season Rangers finished third in the Championship.

That's probably because people kept calling him McGowan.

 

That's a you thing. He's been a pretty prominent part of our League for the past year and he's been linked with us for weeks.

 

Folk moan about epl teams and fans turning their nose up at our players because of the league we play in, yet guilty of doing it when we’re linked with domestic based players.

Very happy with the signing, midfield is looking strong now.

 

Think he'll be a good addition and will make a step up.

 

I have genuinely never heard of him until this speculation started and i even watch the likes of Hibs v Dundee if it’s on the box. He’s 27 in December this guy so not much potential to improve.

It seemed like a spite signing to me, we took a punt on him purely as a * you to the huns.

Has been a standout for Dundee since they came up, clearly a late bloomer but has been great and will be a relatively risk free signing at that price.

Always good to have more fans in the team too.

I'm happy with this. Definitely in the camp that thinks he'll go up levels and shine with us. Could have an instant impact compared to other players coming in, regardless of price tag.
