Engels can play CB can he not?

Rodgers wants a smaller squad. This might be part of the process. Ralston could cover at a squeeze too.

 

Engels can cover RB anyway, not sure about CB. Maybe AJ can play CB who knows. I’ll trust Rodgers knows what he’s doing anyway.

 

Legia were reportedly offering £1.2m. Wouldn't sell him for that. I'd much rather kept him for depth. If we can somehow get our money back, that's another story.

 

I don’t think we will get our money back if Legia would double that offer I would take it. He doesn’t seem to be able to stay fit. Writing off £1.5m is better than £4m, plus it would get his wage off the books.

 

Sure I read he can cover CB. Aye, RB too but played more frequently at CB.

If Rodgers is pushing for a leaner squad but better individual quality then that might need balanced out over a few windows rather than just plug gaps for the sake of numbers.

Might get his chance after all. I hope so because i think he is / has the potential to be better than Scales.

I would agree with that. For me the only way I would sell him is if someone came in with an offer at or close to what we paid for him which isn't going to happen I would think.

 

For the money he cost he should be able to play CB, Striker, and GK, all at the same time

That's good to see he's back training. Hope he can stay clear of injury and show that he's worth a place in the squad now.

 

He has been back training for a bit now. He was training before the international break.
