Wolves apparently want £10m for him. Highly doubt we’d pay that for a 28 year old, but Rodgers is a big fan.

 

Can understand why they would want a high fee but doesn't seem like anyone is remotely linked at the minute.

Shove a £6m bid in, offer him a 4 year deal and see where we go from there.

 

Is that Podence not on about 60k a week ?

I get why you want to keep a structure, it does need to improve overtime but when our top is ~35/40k jumping to 60 for a player is a big jump, and then what does that tell the current top earners? Especially of the new guy isn't an immediate superstar? They'd be wanting upped to match and that feeds through.

Podence is a good player but I'd not say superstar in the team good

 

Would also have to overlook the fact he's atrocious.

 

Great player, surely a big signing on fee added we can get him on a wage affordable to us.

A player I have seen linked with Leeds is Ao Tanaka from Fortuna Dussledorf. He wouldn’t likely cost anymore than Alvin Sanches but is far more experienced. He will know Hatate well from their time together in a strong Kawasaki Frontale team.

Is more a box to box all round centre midfielder but is a very good player and that sort of fee would be a bargain. He could cover Iwata if he left but also play further forward.

I don't think he can play a high line and would be like Duffy 2.0.

Was Maxwell Cornet not a name we were linked with earlier in the window? Apparently West Ham are looking to have a bit of a clear out and he is one of the names on the list. Could be worth a punt on loan.

Although he has been linked to Southampton, if that happened then I would out a loan offer in for Kameldeen Sulemana as a winger, he has had a nightmare since joining there but was very good in Denmark and decent in France.

 

For LCB we should be looking at Isaak Toure who is 6'10 at FC Lorient. Only marketed at 7 mil euros on Transfermarkt.
