    * me sideways I feel like I've blanked that completely from my mind

    That's sensational then.
If Mikey is off, then just shaw and Montgomery.

    That's mad good.

I'd feel a lot more confident if we had someone else other than Trusty lined up.

    Engels
    Sanches
    New CB (not Trusty)
Winger (with a bit of pedigree ala Isaksen)

Before anyone has kicked a ball that would make the window a solid 7/10, imo. Anything less and it's a bit of a disaster.

I hate that account, even if it's not Lennon, it's just a * account :56:

Nawrocki doesn't need cleared out for space.

We are running with 26 in the squad now, 25 if we see Mikey out the door and 23 if we don't count Shaw and Montgomery, which we shouldn't.

Even if we get another 3 or 4 in. Its been an shambles of a window. Reactive, scrambling about all after selling your best player.

Structurally horrible. Needs a complete overhaul.

Will park that for the time being, so get a * move on ya twats!!!

Nawrocki is a strange one. I think he is at the same level, or better than Scales. Would love to see him more but i guess it must be something else that keeps him out.

54m in this year and that doesn't obviously include Jota and anyone else in the past 12 months. Add in the third season in a row of UCL football automatically, season tickets etc. We are in an insane position of strength.

The immediate priority after this window shuts and the dust settles is addressing the footballing structure.

We need people in the building who are capable of leading the long term future of the club ON the park, as well.

In my view we need 4 centre-halves for cover so Nawrocki should only go if we're bringing someone in. I'd be happy with getting in a loan player for cover and sticking him out on loan to get some game time. Or you know getting an actual starting centre-half in but let's be realistic.

Aye it's truly a weird one.

I get the feeling Rodgers rates him, but injuries have * all hope for him here.

    Is he injured currently?

Completely agree. The policy of making money is fine but it's been to the detriment of the product on the pitch.

The board have had a virtually free run domestically for over a decade yet still made a monumental pigs ear of the 10inarow season. With so much money we can afford to push out for the quality the manager and we have been asking for. We need to also develop our younger players and put a hold on these project players that get put ahead of them in the queue. I'm not even sure what our recruitment policy is. Probably the board scouring Instagram to see who's available.

A real director of football that has the same vision as the manager and can act as a buffer would be ideal. We can all sense the frustration from Rodgers and how carefully he words himself.

If we are simply satisfied to win domestically every season then fine. With a bit more ambition we should be at least putting up a better fight in Europe. Nobody is saying an open checquebook, but players that have genuinely been scouted and will fit into the team, rather than someone with the potential to turn a profit.

Maybe.... Just maybe this will be the straw that breaks the camels back.

Maybe the board will finally realise just how out of touch they are with modern football.

Maybe they will realise that the vast majority of well run clubs don't let their best players go in the last week in the widow bcoz scrambling about for replacememts is * idiotic.

And maybe they mite just mite realise that holding off a loan signing till the last hour of the window closing doesn't * appease supporters anymore

The above is what I heard we have interest in Nawrocki but he won’t go unless we sign another centre back. Iwata is the same apparently.

Palma clearly isn’t fancied so I could see that being true too.

Window panning out exactly as expected..

Think we'll get players in but we're haphazard, as stated so many times..

The good thing is Rodgers has came out and vocally criticised the recruitment structure/strategy..

When the window is closed we need to be pushing even more around this, if announcements aren't forthcoming imminently..

The fan section of the pressers need to be around structure and what Rodgers thinks about working under a DoF, for example..

We need everything in place for the January window, with CL qualifiers in mind for next season.

It's not even letting them go last week, that's actually not the issue.

Any half decent club would already have the replacement on the squad before they allowed it though.

Can only think of Édouard for dembele and Johnston for josip as examples we've managed to pull that off in the past.

AK for JJ most certainly was Ange planning, he talked about that plenty of times.
The Édouard situation, I half feel was the idea, but not as quickly as it happened.

Maybe they'll see Brighton spent £26 million only to see the player on the treatment table long term the next day and decide they're never spending another dime...

If we sign these three window has been still pretty poor on how it's handled....which makes me think they are gonna announce these players Hollywood style at the last minute and parade at half time when we are 2-0 up...feel good factor will return and sweep sweep transfer fiasco will be forgotten.

Haven’t hit the panic button yet but my hand is certainly hovering above it . Really thought we would have a few more in by now , although we all know the board by now . Brendan has certainly said enough times about improving the team .
