Has to be the hardest working player in world football. Genuinely not exaggerating here. I watch a lot of football tbf and can’t think of anyone that works and runs as much as him

Only guy that comes close is peak Kante.

    Daizen is relentless.

Good shout, maeda constantly double and triple presses. The end of the half there he was back at left back pressing from player and ended up challenging and winning the ball. Serious engine to be constantly sprinting around at that pace

Fantastic once again today. He's found a level of consistency that had let him down at times, but he's showing up ever single week now. Immense.

Hopefully saving up his finishing for next week as that header and the layoff he ballooned from Kuhn were pitiful..

If he was a better finisher, be worth a fortune. He will have a big one next week

Love the guy, his attitude, engine, his haunting of Tavernier etc.
but his multiple technical limitations are still there for all to see - long term and for UCL we need to do better.
Unless of course Brendan can develop him further - hopefully

It’s taken a long time for me to grow to him but what he brings is invaluable when you watch him. Literally never gets his right back get a clean pass off.

I also think he’s improved a fair bit as a player under Rodgers. Doesn’t give the ball away nearly as often

Love the wee guy, only negative is the new hairstyles don't make him look like a Bond villain anymore

That new hair style has coincided with his form improving. Keep the doo

Yeah since January his technical ability has definitely improved a good bit. Don’t think he’s really had a bad game since around then tbf to him. He’s gonna terrorise the Huns sunday aswell

He has been on a really good run of consistent form as you say for quite a while now. Hopefully that continues in a big way this weekend.
