I can’t say i’m gutted for him, he’ll be on about 70k a week. I don’t care about any of our ex players apart from Henrik as he was world class and loyal to us. Once players leave Celtic i no longer have any thought for them.

I logged into the forum and noticed the O’Riley chat was active one minute ago, i then seen why as he was taken off injured and noticed posters saying gutted for him. Why? I’d guess that 99% of this forum work for a living on a working wage, why should i be gutted for a guy who has now left the club I love and is now on approx 70k a week?

 

Because he played for the club you supposedley love and contributed massively in the last few years to it's success, and left us all who support the club with good memories, is the obvious answer.

If you don't care about ex-players then obvious answer is not to go into that section and stop being a *.

 

At the end of the day it’s in our benefit for O’Riley, and others, to play well after they leave the club. It raises our profile as a club who can develop talent, which in turn gets us more money for players in future.

Barring a situation where a player is being a complete primadonna and forcing a controversial move, I think we should be rooting for all our players to do well.

 

Supposedly love I’ve been all over Europe with this club. I’m just saying i’m not gutted for someone who is on 70k a week whilst i earn minimum wage working a far more stressful job. I love Celtic not the players who play for them.

What an absolute shocker of a tackle, boy was standing looking over at MOR getting helped of the park and had a big smile on his coupon.

Matt done right by us, kept his mouth shut and and didn't kick up a fuss enabling us to command the fee we got.

All this dead to me bollix is pure guff, his sale helps us put more quality on our park and the hefty fee means we can go up a level in our signings financially.

I understand some are * hurt about him going but he has been brilliant on and off the park.
