No chance. It will be Taylor all day long ( until he’s subbed)

Tend to agree with you. Even if we do make some good signings this week to replace O'Riley and even improve our squad from where we were last season they are not going to be in the starting lineup this weekend so I think while clearly we are and deserve to be favourites I don't think we will go out and deliver a smack down as many are suggesting. As you say all the games were close last season and I expect this one to follow that pattern with hopefully the outcome the same as it was in both the home league games last season.

I wouldn't be starting or involving ANY new signings, unless we were 2 goals better off and it was the closing stages.

This derby, away fans or not isnt for newbies imo.

I prefer to have new players bedded into the squad, to realise the importance of the fixture for fans, and to have an awareness that sevco are a bunch of dirty * who will break cheat their way to any result.

I'm probably in the minority that isn't overly confident, just because we haven't yet improved our team since last season and have lost Matt. We are playing better but haven't watched the Huns in a games so no idea what their new players are about.

If we play the way we have been and score first I'll be buzzing.

Hatate had been signed before the window opened and played 3 games for us before the Hun game.

Who are they putting at the back? Souttar with Balogun or Proper? Jefte at left back. I'd be depressed by that.

Their midfield is Baron, Sterling and Lawrence. Not one of them would get in our starting xi.

I think they try and lump it up to Matondo and Cerny. Just got to stop that really.

Yeah I think it’s the pace on the wings that will be the only threat they have to be honest. Matondo is very quick but lacks consistent quality.

Cerny looks like he has a decent delivery/finishing. You keep the flanks quiet and they don’t have any creativity through the middle to trouble us.

I think we will win but I'm with you in that I expect it will be a tough game and pretty close. Games last season were tight but we won most because we were a bit sharper up front and because Rodgers has a great sense of game management in these games. Happy if I am proven wrong but I don't see the gulf between the two teams others are seeing.

That said, I still think we are good for a win.
