If we're serious about replacing MOR, then Patrick Berg at Bodø/Glimt is the obvious replacement for me. The best player in Eliteserien, two way midfielder, captain at Bodø and plays in the Norwegian NT (if that counts for anything). Bodø won't sell if they qualify for the CL, but if they get papped out by Red Star next week we should put a serious offer on the table. I know it won't happen, but I can dream right?

 

The obvious replacement for O'Riley was from Bodo but they sold him to Rennes for £13m. Gronbaek should have been the player that we signed, for me.

 

I agree, but we where never forking out that kind of money for a player. Berg is within our price range under the right circumstanses.

 

If Kyogo leaves, I hope Kvistgaarden is who we go for. Looks an ideal replacement.

Burnley are working on a deal to sign Mickey Johnson just now we should try and get a deal for Owen Dodgson to fill the left back position as he looked really good when he played for Dundee when Owen Beck went back to Liverpool

 

I know some have been suggesting Nanasi, from Malmo. See he’s just signed for Strasbourg for £9m.

Linked with him loosely at start of the summer. Would be a better option than Trusty for round about the same fee

 

Remember some people talking about Denkey from Cercle Brugge and saying he may be out of reach, but saw he still hasn’t moved this window.

Mats Hummels still hasn't got a new club. Find him a bit annoying in interviews but he had a good season. Only negative he played right CB. If he's ready to play on the left he could be good for us and he may even be interested to test himself again in the CL.

Evander of Portland Timbers now has 12 goals and 15 assists in 24 games this season.
He would be a cracking replacement for O’riley

 

Kvistgaarden with another goal for Brondby today. 5 goals and 2 assists in 8 games so far

 

With the link to Gustav Isaksen, it got me thinking about another Scandanvian winger who moved to Italy, Jesper Karlsson. He had 3 good seasons at AZ Alkmaar before making the switch to Bologna but it hasn’t gone to plan so far and he has barely played. He would be a very good left winger option if you could get him on a loan to buy.

For centre back a left centre back who would be available at a reasonable price is Filipe Relvas at the team we just sold Kobayashi to, infact it is likely he is seen as his replacement as I can’t see Relvas being happy to play second tier football.

He is a left sided centre back, good on the ball is about 6’3, has decent pace and would be a good partner for CCV.

The other is Nordsjaelland’s Adam Nagalo who doesn’t seem to have been starting this season for some reason. They must be expecting him to leave. He is right sided but a good player.

I thought he must be for the off as he hadn’t been in a squad all season but he came of the bench yesterday for Nordsjaelland so can’t be a done deal yet. The only place I can see the link is on a PSV Reddit space and the headline is PSV may push for a deal and quoting only €6-7m he would definitely be worth that.

They also just agreed a deal to sign Lodi from a Saudi team so that might put an end to their interest.
