    It's just a concern, even the cruciate injury in itself. But gotta hope we've done our due diligence.

    He'd be coming here in excellent form which is a big upside.

    To be fair, I know he was a lot older and he cost half the price but didn’t GG essentially only have one good spell his whole career before he came to us?

    I get why you’re suspect over it but he’s only 22. Digging up his struggles in La Liga 2 when he was what? 19/20? Sometimes a player needs to find the right environment to thrive and he seems to have done that, for a decent enough team.

    Spanish football in general is slow, defensive and pedestrian. It’s hard to stand out in these leagues when you’re lower down the pecking order.

    As I say, I can see why we would be interested.

    At this stage I just want us to spend some cash. If its close to £7-8m though that's a lot considering its largely due to his recent form. BUT as you said earlier we'd be hoping that we are getting him at the right time.

    I know nothing of him.

    But I'll say, if he's previously. It been great in Europe and went to MLS, then there should be questions asked.

    I've a Lewis Morgan who could fit that trait for an example.

    Celtic are pushing to striking a deal for £8million-rated LAFC star Mateusz Bogusz.

    The Hoops are in talks with the Major League Soccer outfit for their prized asset. The Pole has previously had experience with Leeds United and is keen for another crack at a big European club. Talks are progressing well and there are unlikely to be any issues on agreeing personal terms with a 22-year-old. He could join fellow Pole Maik Nawrocki at Celtic Park

    Don't see us bidding another £8M on him, but about £6M and rising to that, for sure. And if he wants to break into the Poland squad he'll need the bigger profile of European matches. Good business for all involved if we do that price, and a 15% sell-on...

    I'm not convinced there is anything in this despite what the Record are saying, and he did do his cruciate in last year
    which would be a worry.

    I do believe there is something in the other half of the story with Engels.

    I'm a bit wary of Polish players given some of our formers tbh :giggle1:
